PNEUMATICI E TUBOLARI GRAVEL

Il gravel, permette al ciclista di avventurarsi su diversi tipi di terreno, dalle strade ai sentieri fino ai percorsi off-road più accidentati. Per affrontare tutti questi percorsi, il gravel richiede una giusta attrezzatura: bicicletta, pneumatici e ruote speciali per biciclette gravel. 

QUANTO MISURANO I PNEUMATICI DA GRAVEL?

I copertoncini gravel offrono comfort e stabilità al pilota, oltre che un'ottima aderenza sulla superfice. Sono versatili, e hanno una larghezza compresa tra 32 e 55 mm.

COME SCEGLIERE IL GIUSTO COPERTONE GRAVEL?

Per avere un sistema ruota-copertone che ti garantisca la giusta reattività su asfalto e su terreni sconnessi senza appesantire la tua gravel, dovresti tener conto dei seguenti aspetti:

  • Larghezza Pneumatico Gravel
  • Forma, altezza e numero di tasselli: più i tasselli sono piccoli, bassi e numerosi più la ruota sarà scorrevole e offrirà meno grip
  • Tipologia di mescola: una mescola dura è più consigliata per girare su asfalto o su terreni duri, mentre una mescola più morbida si addice di più a terreni sterrati o al ciclocross
  • Tubeless o Camera d'aria

QUALI SONO I TIPI DI COPERTONI GRAVEL?

I pneumatici tubeless, tubeless ready e tubetype, sono 3 tipi di montaggio disponibili per i copertoni gravel. Tubeless e tubeless ready vanno utilizzati insieme ad un liquido sigillante . I copertoni tubeless, possono essere gonfiati con pressioni di gonfiaccio inferirori per una maggiore aderenza.

COSA SONO I PNEUMATICI GRAVEL CON CAMERA D'ARIA?

Il copertone con camera d'aria, è un sistema più semplice da montarem e consente il riutilizzo del copertone in caso di foratura; offre prestazioni inferiori rispetto al tubeless in fatto di trazione, grip e resistenza alle forature.
