LE MESCOLE

La parte più importante e quella che differenzia una gomma da un'altra è la mescola, Maxxis utilizza varie mescole per dare al biker la più vasta e ampia scelta, qui di seguito le caratteristiche principali:

  • Mescola singola, una unica mescola che garantisce una lunga durata e buone prestazioni;
  • Doppia Mescola, una mescola dura che garantisce una maggiore durata viene utilizzata al centro, mentre sulle spalle del copertone viene utilizzata una mescola più morbida;
  • Super Tacky, una speciale mescola utilizzata principalmente nel downhill che garantisce un basso indice di rimbalzo ma garantendo un'ottima tenuta di strada;
  • eXCeption, sigla exc, è una speciale mescola che garantisce ottime prestazioni per chi pratica il cross country
  • 3C Maxx Speed, è la mescola utilizzata per la realizzazione dei copertoni da Enduro e Cross country, le mescole utilizzate garantiscono un'ottima trazione di strada e riduce al minimo la resistenza al rotolamento;
  • 3C Maxx Terra, è la versione più morbida e con maggiore grip rispetto alla precedente mescola;

La scelta della gomma soprattutto nella mountain bike ha una primaria importanza. Gli pneumatici si pongono tra terreno e bici, quindi il loro contributo è fondamentale sia che siamo in condizioni ottimali e vogliamo velocità massima, sia che stiamo affrontando tratti impegnativi e cerchiamo il massimo grip e precisione. Quali sono le caratteristiche principali di una buona gomma per mtb? Come garantire basso attrito, massimo grip, precisione in entrata e tenuta in curva?

PNEUMATICI MAXXIS PER XC

Nella categoria cross country Maxxis offre pneumatici per le diverse esigenze: Maxxlite è la gomma per le gare XC con un peso di soli 285gr, usato da molti rider in coppa del mondo. Nelle gare molto tecniche o nelle competizioni stile epic, Ardent Race offre un ottimo grip. Maxxis Tread lite è un ottimo pneumatico in condizioni di asciutto. Maxxis Crossmark e Crossmark II sono tra le più ricercate dai rider: offrono alta velocità e molto grip; ruota scorrevole e tubeless ready. PNEUMATICI MAXXIS PER ENDURO

La nuova linea Maxxis per MTB presenta diversi modelli anche per fatbike e bici da enduro 27,5 plus.
