Reggisella telescopico per mtb

Negli ultimi anni si è visto un notevole incremento di richiesta dei reggisella telescopici per le mountain bike, quello che era un componente della bicicletta di serie solo nelle biciclette da enduro e all mountain, ora sono richiesti anche nelle biciclette da cross country e Xc.

Il canotto sella telescopico è senza ombra di dubbio utile soprattutto per chi non si sente sicuro nelle discese nei tratti più tecnici che in quelli meno tecnici.

Quello che ha fermato fino ad oggi i rider che hanno un bicicletta front o full con una linea da cross country era il peso, ma attualmente si trovano modelli con un peso di circa 400/500gr, ciò permette di avere un buon compromesso tra peso/utilità.

Molti campioni come Julian Absalon, Carlos Coloma ed anche il campione del mondo Nino Schurter del Team Scott-Sram Racing team ha sfoggiato la sua mtb Scott con il reggisella telescopico durante la terza tappa della Swiss Power Cup.

 

Piccoli accorgimenti per il reggisella telescopico mtb

Per eseguire una buona e rapida manutenzione della bicicletta, è importante innanzitutto appendere la bici dalla sella assicurandosi che sia completamente estesa l'escursione del reggisella in modo tale da evitare passaggi di aria nei reggisella idraulici, questo problema ovviamente non si riscontra nei reggisella telescopici meccanici.

Quando si deve lasciare la bici ferma per alcuni giorni si consiglia di tenerla appoggiata al muro con ovviamente il reggisella esteso, perchè con il tempo si potrebbero avere dei danneggiamenti anche sulle guarnizioni.

Se si deve trasportare la bicicletta, sia che si tratta di un viaggio che del trasporto per una risalita, si consiglia di tenere il reggisella abbassato in modo tale che non si graffi involontariamente il canotto perchè una volta danneggiato non si può più riparare.

 

Quando tenere la sella alta quando tenere la sella bassa

Solitamente il reggisella telescopico si tiene esteso in salita ed il telescopico abbassato in discesa, ma ci sono dei casi in cui è meglio fare l'opposto.

Per esempio durante una discesa molto scorrevole è meglio tenere la sella alta per evitare di far girare a vuote le gambe e per riposare le gambe in modo tale che con il reggisella telescopico alto ci si può sedere. Lo stesso discorso vale per i vari falso piani, con la sella alta si evita di rimanere inpiedi sui pedali per un lungo tempo.

Invece è bene tenere la sella bassa e quindi con il telescopico abbassato nelle salite quando si va ad affrontare un percorso tecnico come gradoni molto accentuati, tenendo la sella bassa si riesce ad affrontare l'ostacolo con più libertà e quindi ho maggiore liberà di movimento nel avanzare o arretrare il baricentro.

Utilissimo è il comando da manubrio per il reggisella telescopico che permette di regolare l'altezza, alzare o abbassare la sella in modo rapido poco prima che si deve andare ad affrontare una salita o una discesa.
